Stablecoin startup Velocity raised a $38 million Series A led by Dragonfly and FirstMark, with Coinbase and Ripple among its investors. Velocity links traditional payments and banking infrastructure to stablecoin networks, and says this shortens settlement times and removes prefunding, which shows Dragonfly backing stablecoin payments infrastructure.
