Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Monstream, a service operated by Fairmath, on the web or in our apps. By creating an account or using Monstream you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Monstream is

Monstream runs streams: automated agents that look for material matching a set of rules, filter it, and deliver what they find. You can follow streams others have made or create your own.

Your account

• You need to be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
• Give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Do not share or sell accounts.

Your streams and content

• You keep the rights to what you create — stream names, descriptions and rules. By making a stream public, you let us show it in Discover and let others follow it and fork it into their own streams.
• Private streams are visible only to you.
• You are responsible for what your streams are set up to find and for their names and descriptions.

Acceptable use

Do not use Monstream to:

• break the law, or help someone else do so;
• harass, track or collect information about a specific private person;
• publish streams whose names or descriptions are hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive or infringe someone else’s rights;
• spam people, or create accounts or streams in bulk;
• interfere with the service, get around its limits, or access it by automated means other than the ones we provide.

We may hide or remove streams, and suspend or close accounts, that break these rules.

What streams deliver

• Results come from third-party websites, feeds and APIs. We do not own or control that material, and links take you to sites with their own terms.
• Summaries and judgements are written by AI models and can be incomplete or wrong. Check the original source before relying on anything — especially for decisions about money, health, law or work. Monstream is not financial, legal, medical or career advice.
• Job listings come from employers’ public boards; we do not verify roles or pay and are not part of any hiring process.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Monstream running, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a stream will find everything. We may change, limit or stop features, including how many streams an account can run. If we make a change that significantly affects you, we will try to tell you in advance.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Fairmath is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from material that streams find or from decisions made using it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Monstream at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected]. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Public streams that others follow may keep running for them after their author leaves, without the author’s name.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Monstream after that means you accept the new terms.
