Oct 6 · 3 of 4 shownThis issue holds one item that clearly meets the zero-knowledge plus zkVM, lookup argument or formal verification bar. Ziren is a production zkVM for MIPS32, with throughput figures, a security estimate and Lean 4 determinism theorems. The other candidates were left out: the multi-value bootstrapping and lattice key-generation papers are not about zero-knowledge proofs, and the Fiat–Shamir proof-of-work paper names none of the required topics.
Ziren is a zkVM for MIPS32 that proves 77 user-mode integer instructions and has proved Ethereum mainnet blocks end to end. It reaches up to 7.3 MHz on one RTX 5090 and 24 MHz on four, with 93.5 bits of composite security over a block's tree of about 150 proofs. Determinism of 57 of the 62 core chips is extracted mechanically as Lean 4 theorems from the prover's own constraint description, giving 104 proved theorems.
