USCIS will let employment-based applicants use the Dates for Filing chart for October 2026, after directing the Final Action Dates chart from May through September. For EB-1, that chart is current for all areas except China and India, which have a July 1, 2024 cutoff.

The State Department published the October 2026 Visa Bulletin two days before fiscal year end. EB-1 India advances to February 1, 2023, China stays at July 1, 2023, and all other countries remain current; attorneys called the bulletin disappointing overall and expect spillover numbers to be clearer by November.
