TokenLogic proposes raising the GHO borrow rate on Aave V3 Ethereum Core from 4.25% to 4.50% APR and the Ethereum Prime GHO base rate from 2.75% to 3.00%, to be executed by the GHO Risk Council under the GHO Stewards mandate. The Core rate would match the 4.50% Aave Savings Rate, while Prime keeps its 25 bps discount, taking its rate at the kink from 4.00% to 4.25%. GHO traded below $0.999 for most of September and the USDC GSM is now depleted.

Oct 6 · 3 of 7 shownLlamaRisk recommends Aave V4 Ethereum cap and rate-model changes, to be implemented via the Risk Steward process as part of Round 18 of V4 cap updates. They include raising the USDT draw cap on the Core Hub Ethena Ecosystem Spoke from 1.5M to 3M, the Core Hub Main Spoke USDT add cap from 28M to 40M, and the USDG draw cap from 50M to 60M. WETH slope2 on the Core Hub would fall from 14.00% to 8.00%, and the PT-USDG-24SEP2026 add cap on the Pendle Spoke would go to 0.
A Lido research forum proposal would remove the Wormhole adapter from Lido DAO governance forwarding to BNB Chain and lower the required bridge confirmations from 3 of 4 to 2 of 3. Wormhole shut down its Standard Relayer automatic delivery on 1 April 2026, so Lido DAO messages now depend on all of Chainlink CCIP, LayerZero and Hyperlane delivering, and any one outage blocks decisions on BNB Chain. A 2-of-3 threshold would restore tolerance to one bridge outage.
