Newest firstIonQ demonstrated entanglement rates exceeding 1,000 events per second between trapped-ion qubits and silicon-vacancy quantum memory using photonic interconnect, more than four times faster than the previous record. IonQ has sold quantum networking systems to the University of Maryland and South Korea's SDT.
Arqit Quantum signed 10 new contracts in fiscal year 2026 for its Encryption Intelligence product, with revenue expected between $975,000 and $1,000,000 for the year ended September 30, 2026. On October 6, Arqit signed a contract as part of a winning consortium to provide secure networking services to NATO.
Rigetti Computing expects to book an $8.4 million quantum computer sale to India's C-DAC in the fourth quarter pending customer acceptance testing. The order represents approximately 84% of the around $10 million analysts expect Rigetti to report for the quarter.
D-Wave recorded firm bookings of $35.5 million in the first half of 2026, a 1,120% increase compared to the same period in 2025, with production-ready applications accounting for 37.3% of cloud-based quantum services revenue. D-Wave will install an Advantage2 system at Florida Atlantic University as part of a NIST-backed quantum cybersecurity consortium and reached a definitive agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce for access to up to $100 million under the CHIPS and Science Act.
Quantum Computing Inc. announced Dirac-3S, scaling quantum optimization to nearly 10,000 variables, a 10x increase over its current system, with first customer shipment expected in November 2026. Dirac-3S features a modular architecture designed to support increased production volumes and broader commercial deployment.
